Esélyt kapunk arra, hogy a forint ne végelgyengülésben múljon ki
Az Európai Unióhoz való csatlakozással Magyarország kötelezettséget vállalt az euró bevezetésére is. Ehhez azonban határidő nem társult, és a valutaváltást kívülről semmilyen intézmény nem sürgeti. A magyar társadalom, és főleg a gazdasági szereplők többsége ugyanakkor úgy látja, a valutareform nélkül az EU-tagság nem teljes értékű. A kérdés tehát nem az, hogy lesz-e magyar euró, hanem hogy mikor. Az euró bevezetésének újbóli meghirdetése jó alkalom annak áttekintésére, miért húzódott el ennyire a folyamat, miközben több szomszédunk is hamarabb és egyszerűen megoldotta az elvárt feladatokat.
