Van pár ötlet, ki léphet a Roszatom helyére

A magyar kormány azt vizsgálja, hogyan lehetne a Roszatom helyett más kivitelezővel megépíteni a Paksi Atomerőmű új blokkjait. A lengyel Energia.rp.pl szerint egy európai partner, például a francia Orano vagy az állami EDF bevonása jelentősen megkönnyítené a projekt külpolitikai és szankciós megítélését. A szerződésbontás ugyanakkor komoly anyagi kockázattal jár, hiszen Magyarország elveszítheti az orosz félnek eddig kifizetett több mint kétmilliárd eurót, és bírság is fenyegethet. A váltás mellett szól viszont, hogy a Roszatom késlekedik, a költségek pedig folyamatosan nőnek. A beruházást tovább nehezíti az uniós bíróság 2025-ös ítélete és a Duna aszály miatti kritikus vízszintje is.
